Confreres in Lyon gathered in deep joy and thanksgiving to celebrate a remarkable milestone: the 60th anniversary of the priestly ordinations of Frs André Moriceau, Claude Nachon, Yvon Crusson, and François Moulin.
The celebration was marked by a strong sense of fraternity, as confreres, friends, and family came together to honor lives wholly given to God and to His people.
The Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Didier Lawson, general councilor, was a time of deep gratitude: gratitude to God for the gift of vocation, gratitude to these four confreres for their availability, and gratitude for the fruits of a ministry lived in simplicity and dedication. It offered a moment to reflect on six decades of faithful ministry.
The assembly was invited to recognize the quiet but powerful witness of these four priests who have served with humility, perseverance, and unwavering trust in the Lord.
Throughout the celebration, all were reminded of the countless communities touched by their ministry.
Over the years, Frs André Moriceau, Claude Nachon, Yvon Crusson, and François Moulin have accompanied generations of faithful through the sacraments, offered guidance in moments of doubt, rejoiced with families in times of happiness, and stood close to those facing suffering and loss. Their priesthood has been expressed not only in words, but in presence — attentive, faithful, and compassionate.
This diamond jubilee was far more than a remembrance of the past. It was also a renewed call to faithfulness, reminding all present that a life given to God bears fruits beyond what can be seen.
Through their journey, Frs André Moriceau, Claude Nachon, Yvon Crusson, and François Moulin offer a living testimony of perseverance in vocation and the deep joy that accompanies a lifelong gift of self.
The celebration concluded in an atmosphere of joy and fraternity, with warm congratulations, shared memories, and a fraternal meal.
This jubilee stands as a significant moment of thanksgiving, recalling God’s unwavering faithfulness and the fruitfulness of a life consecrated to the service of others.
