All delegates and facilitators have now arrived in Rome for the 22nd General Assembly of the Society of African Missions (SMA). The gathering is being held at Rocca di Papa, just outside the city, and brings together members from around the world for this significant event.

This evening, participants took part in an important orientation session to familiarize themselves with the logistical and practical arrangements for their stay. The official opening of the Assembly—referred to as GA 2025—will take place on Sunday, marked by a solemn Eucharistic celebration.

The Assembly promises to be a time of reflection, dialogue, and renewal as the SMA continues its mission in the spirit of unity and service to Africa and the world.
