For 52 years, Sister Cunera Borst has accompanied the residents of the SMA Generalate in Rome with their health care needs.

Her superiors have decided to call her back to the Netherlands, her country of origin, so that she can have a peaceful retirement.

To honour her during the time of her departure from Rome, the residents of the Generalate celebrated a mass on November 27th in recognition of her many years of devoted service, which was followed by a meal in her honour. During the many years in which
she lived in Rome, she was not only devoted to the SMA, but provided much care to elderly Italians in need of extra nursing attention. We pray for all the best for her as she settles into her new life.
