We are gradually coming out of Ebola crisis in Sierra Leone. During the time of crisis we have done our best with your support. We started our mission by providing water to the quarantined houses.
Later gave rice and other food materials to the affected homes that were not supported by others. When we went to quarantined homes, we found sick people who were not picked by the ambulance. We came forward to take the patients to Ebola care centres. We took extreme care in transporting them and we disinfected the car twice after each operation.

When we take the patients to the Ebola centres, they were rejected due to lack of bed in the centres. That made us to build an Ebola care center in our place. We did it in collaboration with a NGO, The Shepherd’s Hospice. We were able to do this because of your prayers and simple supports. We are grateful to all the SMA units for your supports. I thank all the members who made personal contribution towards our mission. Now we have 65 Ebola patients nation wide but there are 1, 700 beds available. So we are planning of closing down the center. Our network is poor here. I was also busy with the works of the center and other meetings. Soon I will try send a detailed mail to you. Thanks.
Fraternally,
Francis Patrikson SMA
