The year of the bi-centenary of the birth of our Founder ended in a fine ceremony at Nocetta. Fifty-five people were present for the Mass and meal. We were especially happy to welcome his Eminence, Peter Cardinal Appiah Turkson, President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, who lead the Eucharist.

A special event took place at the end of the meal. The Superior General, Fr. Fachtna handed over to Sr. Felicia, Superior General of the OLA, a USB key containing all the letter of Fr. Augustine Planque. These came to a total of 8,700. Over forty years of collaboration between SMA and OLA has gone into the completion of this work. Fr. Pierre Trichet has worked tirelessly to bring it to fruition.

We hope that it will help both wings of this one missionary family to know better the vision and legacy of Fr. Planque and to help us as we continue the journey in the footsteps of de Bresillac and his companions.
