This seminar, ” Bridges and Confluences” is leading the participants to an interior pilgrimage. The event is actually taking place at the Mother House of the African Missions. On Friday, we climbed the hill of Fourvière into chapel where the SMA was founded.

Participants at « Bridges and Confluences » are on their third day. During the first meetings, everyone shared on his vocation and his life as a missionary. The various gestures involved in the sharing enabled each of us to be in deeper touch with his body and his spirit.

It is in Lyon, a city of symbols that SMA Fathers having 30 to 40 years of priestly life are meeting for a seminar fifteen of days. Lyon is indeed a Symbol of confluence; rivers Rhone and Saone meet in Lyon to continue into the sea.
