Bonemaison-MichelAfter 16 years of absence, Father Michel Bonemaison is back in the BeninNiger SMA Region and specifically in the parish of Bori, N’dali diocese. This is highly appreciated both by Bishop Martin Adjou, the ordinary of the place, and by the people of the town that hosts. They came massively from several other villages to attend the solemn installation of their priest. Much of the faithful expressed their joy to find the Father they had known in childhood or adolescence.

He was installed as Parish-Priest of the new mission St. Pio of Bori, Saturday, Nov. 7, 2014. The celebration was attended by many of the priests, religious and other pastoral workers of the diocese under the chairmanship of the Bishop. Father Bonemaison amazed everyone when he spoke directly to them in Bariba language. The next day, his first Sunday Mass, he was surrounded by two of his “sons”. They are priests today: Blaise from the diocese of Natitingou and Jonas of the diocese of Kandi. Not only the Mass was said in Bariba but he preached directly in the same language.
