Today’s sessions were held in plenary. It was mainly a question of finalizing and adopting certain texts that had been drawn up so far. In addition, the subject of the Project Office was put on the table. The participants showed great satisfaction with this. It should be remembered that there is a project office in the Society. It is based at the Generalate, and its purpose is to coordinate projects in the SMA. It was born out of the deepest desire of the Society to always work for the integral development of the human person. This includes projects that aim to improve the lives of the people among whom the mission is established. This has always been the case in the mission areas since the congregation’s first steps in Africa over 160 years ago. In addition, this office enables the SMA to strengthen its culture of transparency and good management.
