Filled with the Holy Spirit, the participants of the Plenary Council 2022 resumed the session this morning. At the opening of this meeting, the fathers had reflected on good financial management. At the beginning of this 2nd week, they addressed the issue of Finances. To put it simply, the mission costs money. Each area of activity has a budget. The mission is God’s work and it is He who gives the means to accomplish it.

It is up to the pastoral agents and their leaders to organise as best they can the resources that His Providence has willed to place in their hands.

Thus, throughout the day, the Fathers worked hard on the question of the day. In a rather relaxed atmosphere, there were proposals, analyses, and elaborations that were all intended to be stones for the construction of our common house.
