The SMA General Council received this Wednesday, May 19, at the SMA generalate, the visit of the outgoing members of the General Council of the Missionaries of Africa (M.Afr.), commonly called “White Fathers”. This visit intervenes in the event of the 29th General Chapter of the Missionaries of Africa. This was an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship and collaboration that exist between the two institutes, and to discuss issues relating to the two institutes.

This 29th General Chapter of the Missionaries of Africa which started on Friday May 13, 2022, will end on Sunday June 19, 2022.
