Initially planned to be held in Poland, the Plenary Council 2022 has finally settled in the Eternal City. In fact, since this morning of May 30, 2022, at the General House in Rome, the Plenary Council has opened and will run until Sunday, June 12. 

This opening began with a wonderfully prepared recollection led by Father Michel Bonemaison, SMA. In his speech, he reminded us how good it is to remember that it is out of pure love that we enjoy the life that God has given us forever and which he maintains unceasingly.

Filled with the grace of the Lord’s benevolent presence, the General Council and our Superiors, who came from all the entities, got off to a perfect start during these two weeks of “discussion, evaluation and decision” (Constitutions and Laws, 98) for the life of the Society.
