Homilies for Year A is part of a triptych; it is the first of three volumes. This book treats the readings proposed in the Catholic Church (and also in the Anglican Church) for the Sundays of the three-year cycle: Year A, Year B and Year C.
The Sunday readings are analysed from an exegetical (Bible Study) point of view. The analysis of texts is presented in the form of Homilies to make its practical application easy for priests, pastors and preachers. But it is especially hoped that lay Bible Study groups will draw great benefit from an attentive reading of the texts proposed week by week.
